This is a really neat idea! I'm curious how do Profs/Academic staff overcome the potential for a conflict of interest. Either by the university forcing them to teach with platforms that they already have tie ups with or an education offering that directly competes with the offering already provided for the same target audience by the university?
In reality the "conflict of interest" is minimal. This is not really the type of "executive education" that universities normally sell, and we've actually found that it can be a channel for companies to get to know us and then request a broader engagement via our respective universities (so win-win-win). Furthermore, this type of courses can serve as an experiment of new learning formats that our respective universities can learn from as they design their own offerings.
That makes a lot of sense. I can already imagine that a format like this could setup a number of very interesting flywheels for the instructors, learners and even their respective employers.
